Plans and fair use

Ressura is sold as plans, and nothing in it is charged by use: documents, Connections, checks and questions to Ask Ressura cost nothing on top of the plan. An admin buys Starter or Professional in the app and moves between them there; Enterprise is arranged with Ressura. This page explains what each plan includes, how legal entities are counted, and what Account settings shows once your company is subscribed.

What Starter includes

Starter includes two Modules: Procure-to-Pay, which checks what your company pays, and Order-to-Cash, which checks what your company is paid. It covers one legal entity, and connects one AP/ERP system, such as QuickBooks Online or Xero, and one AR/billing system: Connect your systems says which Connections count.

Starter is $179 a month billed monthly, or $1,790 a year billed annually, so annual billing charges 10 months’ price for twelve months of monitoring.

What Professional includes

Professional includes every Module and connects as many systems as your team needs. It covers one legal entity, and you add as many more as your company has.

Professional is $899 a month billed monthly, or $8,990 a year billed annually. Each legal entity after the first is $199 a month, or $1,990 a year on annual billing.

Enterprise

Enterprise includes every Module and covers 3 legal entities, with more added at $1,788 a year each. It is billed annually, from $24,000 a year, and arranged with Ressura rather than bought in the app: ask your Ressura contact. Ressura invoices your company for it, and your invoices are under Manage billing in Account settings.

A legal entity is one company whose books Ressura checks, such as a subsidiary with its own accounts. Your plan covers the number of legal entities you tell Ressura about: Ressura never counts them from your data. Only Professional and Enterprise add legal entities beyond the ones they include.

How to buy a plan

An admin buys Starter or Professional from Account settings: under Billing, choose Buy Starter monthly, Buy Starter annually, Buy Professional monthly or Buy Professional annually. For Professional, enter your Extra legal entities first: the legal entities beyond the one it includes. Stripe’s checkout opens for your card details and returns you to Account settings once the payment is complete. Only an admin sees these buttons, and Members and roles says who can do what.

Account settings shows your plan once Stripe confirms the payment, usually within a minute.

Moving up to Professional

On Starter, the Add Modules page shows each Module Starter does not include as part of Professional. An admin chooses Move up there, enters any Extra legal entities, and confirms. Your card is charged at once for Professional for the rest of the period, less what is left of Starter’s, and every Module turns on when Stripe confirms the payment. Move up to Professional under Billing in Account settings opens the same page.

On Professional, an admin chooses Change legal entities under Billing in Account settings and enters the number of extra legal entities. More are charged at once for the rest of the period; fewer take effect from your next payment, and nothing is refunded.

Moving down to Starter

On Professional, an admin chooses Move down to Starter under Billing in Account settings. Professional stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, and Account settings says until when; from your next payment you pay for Starter, and the Modules Starter does not include turn off, with any extra legal entities. Nothing is refunded for the rest of the period, and Canceling a subscription says what happens when a plan ends altogether.

What Account settings shows about your plan

Under Billing, Account settings shows your plan and the Modules it includes, whether you are billed monthly or annually, your legal entities, and your next payment: how much and on what date. Under Modules, each Module your plan includes says so, and a Module that is ending says until when.

An admin opens Manage billing there to update the card, download invoices or cancel. Canceling a subscription says what happens when you cancel.

The startup discount

A company that declares startup status gets 50% off Starter for its first 12 months, monthly or annual. Account settings says so beside the offer, and your next payment shows the discounted amount until the discount ends. The discount applies to Starter only, so it ends when you move up to Professional.

If a payment fails

Your Modules stay on while Stripe retries your card, and Account settings explains that the payment failed. Update the card under Manage billing; if every retry fails, Stripe ends the subscription.
