Ask Ressura: the chat panel

Ask Ressura is the panel on the right-hand side of the app, and the one front door for questions. Ask about your company's documents, rows and findings, or about how Ressura works, and it answers in plain words with every figure linked to where it came from. It speaks as Ressura, and when a module expert answers through it the expert is named: "Procure-to-Pay says: …".

What you can ask

Anything you can see: a finding, a document, a row, a Connection, your credits. A question about suppliers goes to Procure-to-Pay, a question about customers goes to Order-to-Cash, and a question that spans your modules goes to each expert with every part attributed. It answers only about the modules you have, so "I don't watch payroll for you yet" is the honest answer.

What it can do for you

It proposes the next step as a card with one button, and nothing is written until you click it. A card can run a check now, ask Fraud Watch to look again through a different lens, add or change a context entry, open or disposition a finding, or draft an email to a supplier or a customer.

Drop a PDF into the panel and one card offers to add it to the Data Room for 10 credits. Once it is added, it is checked and any finding is offered to you.

How it gets to know your company

Ask Ressura is where Organisational context is gathered, and it asks for as little as possible. Only your role at sign-up, at most two questions when you first open a module, and after that a card only when a check needs an answer. Every answer becomes a context entry with your name and the date on it. Needs-information findings appear in the panel too, and your answer becomes an entry after a card you confirm.

Where it opens

The panel opens from the app's shell and by keyboard shortcut, stays open as you move between pages, and never covers the finding it is discussing. On a phone it is a full-screen sheet. It knows what is on screen, the finding, subject or module, and offers that as the scope of your question.

Your threads are private to you and can be resumed. Anything that matters to the company leaves the thread as a finding, a context entry or a disposition, which are shared and recorded in the activity ledger.

Your role and plain words

The role you chose at sign-up sets whether accounting terms are explained in plain words: on for CEO, Business and Board member, off for CFO, Finance team and External accountant. You can flip it under Account settings. Your role changes how Ask Ressura speaks, never what you may see or do.

What it costs

5 credits for each message that calls an expert. Opening a finding, confirming an action and moving around the app are free. Your starting 250 credits cover it, so you can ask before you subscribe, and a running total sits in the panel.

What it will not do

It will not give an audit opinion, tax advice or legal advice, and it will not give a view on whether something is fraud. It writes nothing without your confirmation, and it never answers about a module you do not have as if it watched it. It never invents a number, and an answer that cannot say where a figure came from says so.
