DocuSign
Checked against the app on September 27, 2026Ressura connects to DocuSign through an app you create in your DocuSign account. You copy two values from that app into Ressura, then sign in to DocuSign once to allow access. Ressura reads your completed agreements and never sends or changes anything.
Today Ressura connects to DocuSign's developer environment. The account you connect is a DocuSign developer account, and the agreements it brings in are the completed ones in that account.
Before you start
You need to be an admin of your company in Ressura, because only an admin can connect a system. You also need a DocuSign developer login that can open Settings for the account. The whole thing takes about ten minutes.
In DocuSign, create the app and copy its keys
- Sign in to your DocuSign developer account and open Settings.
- Find Apps and Keys in the menu on the left.
- Choose Add App and Integration Key. Name the app so your team will recognise it, such as "Ressura", and create it.
- Copy the Integration Key, a string of letters, digits and hyphens in five groups.
- Under Authentication, keep Authorization Code Grant, choose Add Secret Key, and copy the secret the moment it appears. DocuSign shows it once; if you lose it, add a new one and use that instead.
- Under Redirect URIs, choose Add URI and enter
https://ressura.com/api/docusign/callbackexactly. DocuSign sends you back to this address after you allow access. - Save the app.
The secret key is a password. Paste it only into Ressura, and never send it by email or chat.
In Ressura, connect it
- Open Connections from the Data Room and choose DocuSign, then Connect.
- The page Connect your DocuSign app asks for the Integration Key and the Secret key. Paste both.
- Choose Authorize and check access. Ressura sends you to DocuSign, where you sign in and allow access.
- Back in Ressura, the page says DocuSign access confirmed for your company and shows the key with Test connection and Edit beside it.
The account then appears on the DocuSign page with its name and its status: Connected, Needs attention or Disconnected.
What it brings in and what it costs
Before its first sync, the Connection shows its Backfill window. Ressura looks back up to twelve months, newest first. Shorten the Months of history if you only need recent agreements, then choose Confirm backfill window.
Choose Refresh envelopes and the page lists your Completed agreements. Listing them costs nothing. Tick the ones you want, up to 20 at a time, and choose Add to Data Room. Each one is added under Contracts and Agreements as a contract, with DocuSign recorded as its origin, for 10 credits, the same as a document you upload.
After the backfill, the Connection syncs about once a day, and also when DocuSign tells Ressura that an agreement was completed.
When it needs attention
A Connection with a problem you can put right shows Needs attention and says what to do.
If DocuSign has withdrawn access, because the app's secret changed or someone removed Ressura in DocuSign, choose Edit on the DocuSign page, enter the key and a current secret again, and choose Authorize and check access. Test connection confirms the link still works whenever you like.
Disconnect stops the sync. The agreements already in the Data Room stay, with DocuSign recorded as their origin. Reconnect picks up where it left off.
